AAHPERD basketball skill test- Fifth to eighth-grade boys and college men were used as subjects for conducting the pilot studies. A large number of reliability coefficients for the four test items by the test-retest method was computed on elementary, junior high school, senior high school, and college range males and females. Quite high values of reliability coefficients were recorded and all the values ranged between 0.84 to 0.98. AAHPERD develop basketball skill testing norms on ten thousand pupils for the testing of American school children and the adult Indian population, hence, it has been considered unnecessary to describe the detailed methodology along with instruction of test items, administration, and scoring.
